Placement
For the institute-industry interface Training and Placement Cell is functional in the Institute for assisting the students for on-the-job industrial training in their sixth semester project and the final placements. To make the student industry-ready, the Cell maintains the database of the industry and regularly interacts with them. The experts from the industry are invited to acquaint the students with the current practices and latest trends. The students actively participate in the training & placement activities along with faculty members and a dedicated Training & Placement Officer. Towards the overall development of the students the Cell engages itself in the following activities:- Conduct familiarization visits to the companies.
- Establishing industrial linkages.
- Conduct awareness programs for the students in form of workshops, seminars and conferences to suit corporate requirements.
- Conduct value-added programs like personality development and Soft skill workshops to enhance the communication skills, leadership abilities, teamwork through group discussions and mock interviews, quizzes etc.
